With everything we throw in kitchen drawers it isn’t a surprise they break and need to be replaced sometimes. Older drawer box manufacturing or cheaply made drawer boxes don’t hold up. Exceptional Materials & Joinery
When it comes to dovetail joints or dowel joints, we offer both and the flexibility in costs and durability that you want. Drawers are common element which homeowners use most when it comes to cabinetry. Therefore, it is important to have a quality construction which is ready for the daily use. We carry a wide variety of solid wood drawer boxes materials. The solid wood varieties we carry include: Alder Beech Cedar Cherry Pine, Hard White Maple, Red Oak, Walnut, White Birch, Soft Natural Maple, Aspen, FSC Select Cherry
Melamine
Melamine material is the combination of a particle board core which gets laminated using highly durable layers of melamine. This provides a durable, beautiful and simple to clean drawer box that is affordable. It comes in various melamine thicknesses for a custom drawer box size, and different options for the accents of the top edges, notching, patterns and more. High quality custom grade MDF can be used during construction to provide high quality durability.
This is a good option for kitchen and bathroom drawers which are available in many different melamine colors, such as black, almond, hard rock maple, and white.
Plywood
With a long track record, plywood is a common material that is used for modern construction projects. It can be found in various walls, roofs, and provides an alternative to drawer boxes which are strong and affordable. The drawers are able to be created with dovetail or dowel joints, helping fit in a variety of budgets. In addition, plywood means clients are able to enjoy the appearance of wood, while getting the strength of dovetail joints and have the drawer boxes fit the cabinetry project.
Some qualities associated with plywood drawer boxes include having more strength than particle board, real wood grain patterns, while providing fasteners more grip of solid materials while being attractive. Furthermore, plywood allows the possibility of getting dovetail joints which assist with the lifetime of your drawers.

We’re proud to provide our client with dovetail drawer boxes that are fabricated using your option of finish and material, including color or stain of your choice that will match your cabinetry style. Dovetail joints provide flush and durable corners with a series of cuts within the wood sections that will interlock. Dovetail joints do not require hardware to be used, such as nails, screws or staples. This leaves the surface clean. Also, dovetail joints do not use glue, but they provide a strong quality joint.

Dowel Joint
Another common part for high quality fabrication is the dowel joint drawer box joints, and it is a common method for constructing cabinets. The dowel joint is created with drilling in pieces which become sides for the drawer box and joins together using small dowels of wood. One of the sections flat sides are drilled to correspond with holes that are drilled within the other sections edge.
The drawer boxes are joined using a drawer connection with tightly fitted, pre-glued pins which offer strong durability and they are cost effective.
